The dawn of
a new millennium is an excellent opportunity to lay the
foundations for a new Journal dealing with
textiles and related materials.
After a
preliminary period of reflection and discussion, the Autex
Research Journal (AutexRJ)
was put on the right track in order to play a main role worldwide
in making textile research more publicly known.
Only few journals
are dealing with textile research at an international level
and comply with the highest standards. Therefore, the
Autex Research Journal will have to play a
major role in distributing scientific and technological
research results guaranteeing continuity and quality.
Everybody
honestly dedicated to textiles is invited to submit papers and to
contribute in a qualitative way to the image of the
Journal. There is no way back and it is
all about excellence!
